The Space
When owners Shannon and Noah took over the property, the view was really the only thing that was still pristine. The couple got to work, and with the help of the team on HGTV’s Income Property, began massive renovations across the retreat. What’s left is a private oasis that is second to none.
Located on 1.5 acres, County Retreat is comprised of several buildings. During the summer months, guests have access to both the Main House as well as the beautiful, private Chalet that sleeps 6. And during the wintertime, the Main House can still comfortably sleep up to 10 people.
The Main House and Chalet both feature full kitchens and bathrooms, meaning parties in both buildings can feel right at home. Bright rooms, modern amenities, and a clean design ensure that your stress will melt away the second you walk in the door. Designer Shannon truly went above and beyond with her vision for the space. Clean lines and bright shades of white and cream dominate both the Main House and the Chalet. What to See and Do
County Retreat couldn’t find itself in a better location. Just 500 metres down the road from Waupoos Winery, the oldest in PEC, guests are just a quick bike ride away from some of the most delicious wine in all of Canada. Sip away your afternoon as you learn the story of how owners Ed & Rita grew from a modest ½ acre grapevine patch to over 20 acres housing over 14 varieties of grapes.
In addition to this incredible winery, the County Retreat is located just down the road from several other great attractions, including The County Cider Company, Fifth Town Cheese Company, Waupoos Marina, and multiple "pick-your-own" blueberry and strawberry farms.

Getting Around
If you’re so inclined, the second you park your car at County Retreat, you can say goodbye to the keys until it’s time to leave. Though it truly feels like you’re out in the middle of your own private oasis, some of the most incredible things to do and see on PEC are all accessible by bike.
The best part? You don’t even need to bring your own bike, as County Retreat offers 4 full-size adult bikes for guests to use during their stay. And of course if biking not your thing, the property also offers 2 single kayaks, a double kayak, and a canoe in case you’d rather travel on the water.
Either way, Country Retreat makes it easy for you to leave your car behind while you’re enjoying the fresh, crisp air of Prince Edward County.
